Dayton – Mrs. Fern D. Amundson, 77 of Dayton died Saturday morning in Home Hospital, Lafayette. She was born April 8, 1910 in Mellott. Her marriage was to Oscar Amundson who preceded her in death. She graduated from Mellott HS in 1928 and attended Lakeview Hospital Nursing School in Danville, Ill. Mrs. Amundson was a member of Mellott United Church of Christ. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Mildred Beckelhymer of Veedersburg.
